These are the reasons that I came up with:
1) They are insecure. People think of women as the insecure ones, but men are more insecure then some would like to admit!
2) They don't care about their significant other's feelings
3) They care so much about their significant other's feelings and they love them so much but they are so afraid of committment that they screw it up for themselves on purpose
4) When men feel neglected, they tend to search for in other ways. This can be emotionally, as in a man doesn't feel like he's getting attention, or physically, possibly with sex or intimacy.
Any other ideas?
